An amazing workshop about how our bodies work – this time focusing on our heart and lungs. Did you know that our heart pumps blood around the body and beats on average 100,000 times a day! Or that you breathe in and out around twenty times a minute?
Join our science club miniature medics as they listen to their own beating heart, figure out how the heart and lungs connect together and see the inner workings of a real animal heart.

“The rhythm of life is a powerful heart beat, that puts a tingle in your fingers and a tingle in your feet.”

All Saturday Science Club sessions must be accompanied by an adult.

Science Oxford welcomes all children to our clubs. If you or your child has additional needs, please get in touch on [email protected] to discuss how we can best support your child to make the most of the club.
