Home Educator Days at the Science Oxford Centre
Our Home Educator Days combine interactive STEM workshops, access to our Exploration Zone, and themed drop-in activities in a welcoming environment where children can investigate, create and discover at their own pace.
Each event runs 10am – 12.30pm and has a different theme, giving families the opportunity to return throughout the year for new experiences and challenges. Sessions are designed primarily for children aged 5–11yrs old. Younger siblings may attend Home Educator Days but activities are pitched primarily for children aged 5–11. The Activity Sessions are not suitable for younger siblings to participate in.

Family Days
Join us on Saturdays for our popular Family Days at the Science Oxford Centre. Explore interactive exhibits, take part in hands-on activities, access our 15 acres of woodland and enjoy a fun day of discovery together. Activities change regularly, so there is always something new to investigate, create, and explore as a family. Sensory-friendly Family Days take place quarterly.
STEM Clubs
Science Oxford runs a regular programme of STEM clubs for young people with curious minds. From practical science investigations to nature-based exploration, our clubs encourage creativity, problem solving, and confidence through engaging hands-on activities in a welcoming environment.
STEM Careers Programme
Inspiring young people, ages 14-18, about careers in STEM, through first-hand experiences and interactive activities. Develop skills, gain insight in the many routes into STEM careers and become empowered to make positive and informed choices about your future.
We can bring our team to you
Our team can visit your Home Educator group to deliver STEM shows and workshops in the comfort and familiarity of your own community spaces. Choose from one of our range of shows and workshops, suitable for primary-aged children.
