Maker Club Juniors – Micro:City (ages 9-12)
Planning an urban city street can be challenging, so we are scaling things down this month and getting our junior makers to help build a road fit for a Micro:bit buggy. It’s easy to drive to safety when the roads are quiet but what happens at rush hour? Junior urban planners will build and programme LED traffic lights and create a pedestrian crossing. Then they’ll test it out by driving Micro:bit controlled buggies down the road and watch the lights in action!
All Maker Club Juniors sessions must be accompanied by an adult.
Science Oxford welcomes all children to our clubs. If you or your child has additional needs, please get in touch on [email protected] to discuss how we can best support your child to make the most of the club.
