Science Oxford Centre

The Science Oxford Centre is a new experience for children, families and adults where all you need to get started is a little curiosity. Explore, experiment and make discoveries in our Exploration Zone, follow the trails in our woodland and enjoy clubs, shows and more in our theatre and workshop.

Spring 2021 update

Following the government announcement on the national lockdown, the Science Oxford Centre is closed until further notice. We aim to open to the public for Family Open Days from 22nd May 2021. Please contact [email protected] for more information.

The health and well-being of our visitors and staff is our highest priority. We are following Government recommendations to minimise the risk of person-to-person transmission of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and we have put some new measures in place to ensure you can enjoy your time at the Science Oxford Centre safely. You will find this information on our booking page and we will email you with further details before your visit. You can also view our COVID-19 Risk Assessment For Public.

Enjoy science safely – if you’re visiting the Science Oxford Centre for a Family Open Day, watch our short film here to find out what we are doing – and what you can help do – to keep safe.
