Science Oxford Centre

The Science Oxford Centre is a new experience for children, families and adults where all you need to get started is a little curiosity. Explore, experiment and make discoveries in our Exploration Zone, follow the trails in our woodland and enjoy clubs, shows and more in our theatre and workshop.

In line with new Government restrictions from 5 November to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are temporarily closing the Science Oxford Centre until 2nd December. If you require any further information, it is best to email [email protected] or you can call 01865 810 000. In the meantime, please keep up-to-date with Science Oxford by following us on social media or sign up for our newsletter. Thank you for your support and understanding.

Booking ahead

The health and well-being of our visitors and staff is our highest priority. We are following Government recommendations to minimise the risk of person-to-person transmission of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and we have put some new measures in place to ensure you can enjoy your time at the Science Oxford Centre safely. You will find this information on our booking page and we will email you with further details before your visit. You can also view our Family Open Day Risk Assessment.

Enjoy science safely – if you’re visiting the Science Oxford Centre for a Family Open Day, watch our short film here to find out what we are doing – and what you can help do – to keep safe.
