Our STEM Careers programme is designed to inspire secondary school students about careers in STEM and understand the real landscape of STEM careers through first-hand experiences.
This is only possible through support from organisations and specialists working in STEM in our region.
Our business partners (individuals and organisations) share their time and knowledge with young people (and quite often offices or laboratories too), to show them what a career in a STEM subject might look like, how a STEM business runs and to share their passion for research and discovery.
We work with companies of all sizes and sectors to create meaningful encounters for young people, such as:
- Workplace visits
- Hands-on challenges, real-life problem-solving activities and workshops
- Talks
- Mentoring
