Creative Computing Club – Self Driving Cars (ages 12-15)
Rev up your engines and get ready to join the driverless car revolution! Oxford is home to some of the most exciting tech advances in driverless cars so this month’s club focuses on driverless tech in miniature. Our Micro:bit buggies have been rigged with an infra-red sensor and reader to navigate their way around. Try your hand at programming your own autonomous car to know the difference between light and dark surfaces. Will it be able to follow the correct route or end up down a dead end? Make your own maze to follow and test out other people’s designs.
12-15 year old session at 2.30PM is unaccompanied.
Please complete a Parental Permission Form and either email in advance or print out and bring along on the day.
Science Oxford welcomes all children to our clubs. If you or your child has additional needs, please get in touch on [email protected] to discuss how we can best support your child to make the most of the club.
