Registration for the Big Science Event is open. The Big Science Event gives pupils ownership of their science investigations, making science exploratory and creative.
Year 10s can apply now to join the February half-term STEM Insight Week. Learn new skills and learn about the world of work from local exciting, innovative STEM businesses. Apply by 3rd February.
National Tree Week runs from 26 November to 4 December, marking the start of the best period of the year to plant trees. Ignore those photographs of dignitaries planting trees in the middle of a hot summer to mark the opening of a new housing development.

These are just some of the words teachers used to describe Year 13 students nominated for the 2022 Young Scientists of the Year awards. With attributes like these in our young people, the future of STEM looks bright!
Thanks to Science Oxford, a group of year 10s from local Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire secondary schools who participated in the October half-term STEM Insight Week discovered what working in STEM really entails.
Our Primary School programme supports STEM teaching and learning across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. We run workshops and shows for pupils in your school and you can visit our Science Oxford Centre.
Our STEM Careers Programme works with schools and businesses to help students gain the information, knowledge and skills that could springboard them into a STEM career.
