Are you a teenager who loves to design and create? Are you a parent with super-cool kids who enjoy tinkering with programming and electronics or all things artisan? If so, our new Maker Club for ages 12+ could soon be your favourite place. At Maker Club, our well trained staff will guide you through techniques ranging from soldering and sewing to programming and paper craft. They’ll be on hand to offer support and help you make your ideas a reality.


In this session there will be a variety of creative, hands-on projects available for the young people to work on as well as continuing with their computer aided design if they so wish.


The sessions are unaccompanied so permission forms must be completed.  Forms can be downloaded here and can be emailed to [email protected] in advance, or printed and brought along on the day.

We would usually expect one member of Science Oxford staff to be able to provide three activities in a day.  Most of our shows are suitable for up to 60 children and most of our workshops for up to 30 children.  We will create a draft timetable for you based on the information you provide below.
