Kitchen Science – Sold Out
Some of the best everyday science happens in our kitchens – from the rising properties of baking powder in a sponge cake to the cleaning power of bicarb in a greasy oven. Get creative with your children this summer holiday as Science Oxford returns with its popular Kitchen Science workshop series. Last time it was Roald Dahl-themed experiments – this time we are building, drinking and washing. How high can a tower of marshmallows and spaghetti go before it collapses? What is the recipe for a magical colour-changing drink and who’s ready for washing-up using homemade citrus suds? Join us for a family-friendly hands-on journey around the amazing science in our kitchens.
Science Oxford will be running two workshops (ages 5+), at 10.30am and 1pm. Cost is included with entry but places are limited so please book in advance by clicking here. Please only book places for the number of workshop participants. All children must be supervised. cogges.org.uk
