In this fun and interactive workshop exploring the building blocks of life, our young Watson and Cricks’ will learn how to extract DNA from fruit and vegetables (which they can take home) as well as investigating the DNA differences between humans, chimpanzees and flesh-eating bacteria by making special bracelets to keep. A fantastic hour of science made simple.

Primary School Shows and Workshops

Lunchtime (including availability of the hall due to setup/cleaning if you use the hall for lunch)

We would usually expect one member of Science Oxford staff to be able to provide three activities in a day. Most of our shows are suitable for up to 60 children and most of our workshops for up to 30 children. We will create a draft timetable for you based on the information you provide below.
