Solar energy can be used to power everything from a phone to a house to a power station. And unlike smelly, polluting fossil fuels, the Sun’s power doesn’t produce waste products and is completely renewable. Using only a few basic circuit components and a bit of soldering, your kids can lower their carbon footprint by making their very own solar chargers to charge a mobile phone or tablet at this hands-on workshop. We’ll keep our fingers-crossed that the Sun comes out to join us!
