Feel the love for bugs at this month’s Nature Club! Grab a bug pot and go on a hunt to discover some of the tiniest creatures in the woodland. We’ll identify a variety of amazing minibeasts found in different habitats; use shake sheets to see what’s in the trees, and sweep nets to hunt in the meadow! Choose a habitat, then design and build a bug to live there with pipe cleaners and play dough. Take home a minibeast ID guide and get ready for Insect Week later in June!

Event Details
All STEM Club sessions must be accompanied by an adult. These family workshops are designed for you and your child to learn from each other and work together while trying out new things.
Nature Club is usually held in our workshop space, with some outdoor activities in most sessions, weather permitting. Explore the natural world in different ways each month, where you will be making the most of the beautiful surroundings at the Science Oxford Centre. With ponds, woodlands and meadows on our doorstep, children can explore and investigate the plants and animals that live alongside us, discover the simple beauty of natural objects and learn how everything in an ecosystem is interconnected.
