Suitable For: Teaching staff, NQTs, TAs, science co-ordinators
Price - £190 + VAT or free of charge as part of Science Oxford’s annual membership

An introduction to the Thinking, Doing, Talking Science project followed by a participative session where we explore various discussion techniques to encourage pupils’ thinking skills. We also look at how these discussions can be recorded and used as evidence of progression and understanding.

COURSE OUTCOMES

Understand the importance of a dedicated discussion time

Practice techniques that encourage pupils to share their knowledge and express their thinking
