Musical Micro:bits – OYAP Bicester (ages 9-12)
Have you ever wondered how a phone or sat nav knows when it’s moved or shaken? Meet the accelerometer, a funky gadget that we’ll be using to create Micro:bit musical instruments! Learn how to code musical notes and how to play them – by tilting, spinning, shaking or touching the buttons on the Micro:bit. Using these new skills, design and make moveable wearable musical tech that can even be controlled with your own body!
All equipment will be provided, however Micro:bits will be available to purchase on the day for £15.
Sessions must be accompanied by an adult.
Science Oxford welcomes all children to our clubs. If you or your child has additional needs, please get in touch on [email protected] to discuss how we can best support your child to make the most of the club.
