Maker Club is open to anyone interested in creating, designing and making. Whether you are an advanced maker or have never picked up a soldering iron, our experienced trained staff can help bring your ideas to life. Drop in with a mission of your own or stay all day, ready to collaborate on a challenge. If you’re looking to get your teeth into a project this month, why not consider lighting up your screen by programming a firework display in Unity or Scratch. Alternatively, if you are looking to give the added ghoul factor to your Halloween costume, we have 3D-printers, laser-cutters, LED’s and other materials to create anything from glowing cat ears to a neon lightsaber.

THINGS TO REMEMBER

Come along between 10 and 2pm. When you book a ticket, you can arrive from 10AM to 2PM, and stay for however long you want up to 3pm. Please indicate when you book your ticket if you think you will come for a session in the morning, the afternoon, or stay all day. You don’t have to stick to it, but it helps us know when to expect you.

We have a tuck shop with drinks and snacks, but if you are planning on spending the day with us do bring your own lunch.

All sessions are unaccompanied, please ensure you have filled out a Parental Permission Form available here or at the club.

Science Oxford welcomes everyone to our clubs. If you have additional needs, please get in touch on [email protected] to discuss how we can best support you to make the most of the club.
