micro:bit kitloan
Introduce your students to the amazing features of the micro:bit, such as the temperature sensor, accelerometer and wireless transmission, and see what amazing creative project ideas they come up with!
This comprehensive kit comes with everything you need to get started in programming, including thirty micro:bits (v1) with built-in sensors, external components such as lights and buzzers, and a set of lesson plans suitable for six class lessons or after-school club sessions to help you get the most out of the kit.
You can choose to code using either the MakeCode editor (a graphic coding language similar to Scratch), or the text-based language Python. Our lesson plans include both options, and there are lots of additional online resources at your disposal.
Not feeling confident that you could start from scratch? Why not check out our twilight CPD session to learn the basics of programming, test the kit on your school computers, and ask any questions you have.
