Get Coding! micro:bit CPD
Does your school have a set of micro:bits but you’re unsure how to start using them? Or perhaps you’re interested in borrowing our micro:bit kit loan, with a class set of micro:bits and a term’s worth of lesson plans?
In this fun, hands-on twilight CPD session, you will gain an understanding of micro:bit programming, practice some coding yourself, and have plenty of opportunities to ask any questions that you may have.
Course outcomes
- Familiarisation with the basics of micro:bit programming using both the JavaScript block editor and Python
- Introduction to our micro:bit lesson plans
- Knowledge and confidence to run micro:bit lessons or after-school clubs
We’ll also introduce our set of 6 exciting lesson plans and give you plenty of opportunities to ask any questions that you may have.
Get Coding! is accessible to all, from complete beginners to those with a working knowledge of programming. However, it is best suited to KS2 class teachers, TAs and ECTs as well as SLT and computing curriculum leaders.
