Kitchen Science at Cogges Manor Farm
Do your children love experimenting with everything available in the kitchen cupboard? Do they love getting messy, making ‘mixtures’ and going free-style with the food colouring? If the answer’s yes, they’ll love our food science workshop, which brings simple scientific concepts to life through fun (and messy) activities on a culinary theme. Children will get their taste-buds tingling with our Roald Dahl-inspired lickable wallpaper, create ‘snozzcumbers’ with basil-seed slime and cool things down by making their very own ice-cream, without the need for a freezer! There’ll be lots of amazing food science facts to explore and they can take their culinary creations home (or scoff them straight away!).
Science Oxford will be running two workshops (ages 5+), at 10.30am and 12pm. Cost is included with entry but places are limited so please book in advance. Email [email protected] to reserve your place.
Cogges has daily activities for families throughout the Easter holidays. For a full list of what’s on, please click here.
