Can you drop an egg without breaking it? That’s the challenge at our egg-citing science-themed workshop on the farm. Fledgling engineers will work out how to cushion an egg’s fall by using materials such as balloons and plastic bags to design their own ‘egg-protection device.’ Better get cracking to prevent a hard landing!

Science Oxford will be running three shows. All children must be supervised. For more information and to book visit

Reservations are only required for the participating child but everyone will need a Cogges entry ticket to visit the site. The shows are £2 per person to reserve your place.
