Roll on up for one of Science Oxford’s all time most popular and addictive challenges! At this workshop, our budding engineers will harness the forces of friction and gravity to design their own marble maze. Using a range of materials, they’ll work out how to make a marble roll as slowly as possible down a slope, without getting stuck along the way. It’s a fantastic activity for developing problem solving skills in a really fun and creative way, that adults can get stuck into as well.

This activity is not suitable for children under the age of 5 due to small parts.

This event is part of a partnership between Science Oxford and the Old Museum in Oxford to bring science-themed activities to wider audiences across the region.
