Do you want to design the next generation of computer games? Get a head start by creating your own game in this high-scoring computing workshop from Science Oxford. During this workshop you will be programming the micro:bit’s built-in display and buttons to make a ‘Bop-It’ style game!  Then see how fast your reactions are by coding a scoring system and challenging your family.

Suitable for coding beginners as well as those who have been to previous coding clubs and events.

9-12 year olds in the morning session must be accompanied.  The afternoon session is unaccompanied and so permission forms must be completed.  Forms can be downloaded here Parental Permission Form[1] and can be emailed to [email protected] in advance, or printed and brought along on the day.
