Things are hotting up at this cool science workshop from Science Oxford. They’ll be asking the question ‘What happens if…?’ as they explore the effects of heat on different materials such as sugar, salt and soap. Prediction, observation and enquiry skills will all be required as your young scientists investigate warming, melting and cooling before putting their learning to use to create their own natural lip balm and soap to take home.

Presented in partnership with Cornerstone. Booking is through Cornerstone on 01235 515144, and can be booked in conjunction with Artlab workshop in the morning. Parents are not expected to stay and if your children are doing both, they will be supervised over lunchtime and should bring a pack lunch.
