Celebrate Oxford Green Week 2019 by bringing your family along to Science Oxford and Oxford Conservation Volunteers Family Conservation Day in the woodland at Stansfeld Park.

Under the theme of One Planet Living, we have a host of activities for you to enjoy that will benefit both this unique woodland and its wildlife. Using natural and recycled resources, we’ll be building habitat piles for invertebrates and reptiles, constructing veggie patches and surfacing our network of pathways with woodchip and bark, plus much more. It’s a great chance to visit the home of our new Science Oxford Centre and explore the woods, ponds and grassland. Come armed with suitable clothing to get stuck in between the hours of 9:45 and 16:00 and lunch if you are planning to stay all day. Tea/coffee/squash and biscuits will be provided. Under 18’s MUST be supervised at all times.

Get in touch with Roger Baker 01865 810012 or [email protected], for further details; keep an eye on our website for a list of resources you can bring to contribute nearer the time.

Run in partnership with the amazing OCV, we are working to rejuvenate the 15 acres of woodland, ponds and grassland at Stansfeld and create a fantastic space for primary school visitors and the local community to enjoy.
