Philosophers and poets have bemoaned the human condition since time immemorial. But now we are increasingly gaining tools – medicine, computers, biotechnology, AI, nanotechnology – to change who we are on a fundamental level. What should we want to become? Is it a good idea? Is trying to be more than human a fundamental part of being human?

An introduction by futurist and transhumanist Anders Sandberg followed by a chance to discuss the topic.
