Saturday Science Club Oxford

Music can have a really positive impact on all areas of a child’s development: intellectual, emotional, social, language and overall literacy. It can help the body and mind work together and can help children to express themselves – often loudly! Our new family workshop taps in to the science of sound, showing children what it is and how and why instruments produce different notes. We will also be helping them to make their own musical instruments to take home. A great science club for children who love music and making lots of noise!

In association with British Science Week 10-19 March 2017
