Micro:net coding for adults
The fridge, the car and even your watch can all be connected to the internet – in fact they might be already. The Internet of Things is changing the way we use technology and connecting us in more ways than ever before. While BBC micro:bits can’t connect to the internet themselves, they can communicate with each other.
During this workshop you will be able to create your very own micro network to model the Internet of Things – using the micro:bit’s radio to send and receive “emergency broadcasts”. Have a go at sending secret messages to another radio operator across the room, then make your own radio controlled device from two micro:bits.
Suitable for those new to coding or those who have attended a previous coding workshop with us.
