Micro:bit taster for Adults – Fully Booked
Have you ever wanted to try your hand at computer coding but not known where to start? Does it sound like something a bit scary or too techy? Well don’t be afraid – many of us are in the same boat and that’s why Science Oxford wants to help. Come along to our relaxed adults-only taster session for an introduction to programming with cool coding gadget, the BBC micro:bit, and Python.
A BBC micro:bit is a small microcontroller – it has a pixilated ‘screen’ on the front made of 25 LEDs, two buttons you can use to control it and loads of other interesting features, which you can learn to use. With support from the Science Oxford team and some simple coding magic you will be able to bring it to life!
Bring your own laptop (recommended) or use one of ours and we will bring the wine!
Suitable for those with no or very little coding experience.
