Why do we have day and night? How old are you in Martian years? Join Science Oxford to explore our solar system and beyond and find out just how big the universe really is.

“Space is big. Really big. You just won’t believe how vastly, hugely, mind-bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it’s a long way down the road to the chemist, but that’s just peanuts to space.”
Douglas Adams, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy

We’ll be exploring all the planets in our solar system and take a brief glimpse beyond, into the beautiful Milky Way . How did the planets get their names? How big are they, and how far away? Could we live on another planet, and is there life on Mars?

The perfect workshop for all budding astronauts.
