Fresh-faced from their debuts in the FameLab heats, the winners return for another round of sparkling FameLab science, speaking for just 3 minutes each on a topic close to their hearts, and elevating science from the lab to the stage. There’s not a moment to be missed at the FameLab Oxfordshire Regional Final, as our brave and brilliant challengers aim for the performance of their lives and compete to represent Oxford at the UK final.

Join judges Lucy Rogers and 2017 UK winner Kyle Evans, plus compere Rob Shalloo – and Alison Woollard will be entertaining the audience in the interval as the judges make their decision.

Famelab is an international competition to find the new voices of science and engineering. Each contestant has just three minutes to explain a concept on science, mathematics or engineering without the use of Powerpoint.

Primary School Shows and Workshops

We would usually expect one member of Science Oxford staff to be able to provide three activities in a day. Most of our shows are suitable for up to 60 children and most of our workshops for up to 30 children. We will create a draft timetable for you based on the information you provide below.
