It’s over 100 years since DNA  was first discovered and over sixty years since Watson and Crick first identified the structure of DNA and yet this tiny molecule still tantalisises us with its secrets. So what exactly is DNA?  And how can the human body contain up to 20 billion miles of the stuff?

This is your chance to get up close and personal with DNA: discover what it really looks like and how much we can blame our parents for who we are!
Get hands-on with a Lego inheritance challenge (including sweeties) and make your own strawberry DNA daiquiri at this genuisly genetic adults-only workshop.

We would usually expect one member of Science Oxford staff to be able to provide three activities in a day. Most of our shows are suitable for up to 60 children and most of our workshops for up to 30 children. We will create a draft timetable for you based on the information you provide below.
