Join us for the launch event for Ageing: From Birth to Beyond. People with dementia and families/ carers can enjoy socialising and meeting new people in a relaxed space. Don’t miss a talk by top UK medical expert Sir Muir Gray, author of ‘Sod 70’ and Midlife: Look Younger, Live Longer and Look Better and a Cowley themed reminiscence session with the Museum of Oxford. Information about living with dementia and local services will be on hand.

Dementia Cafe will return on Wednesday 17th May at Boswells 3-5pm (with a 10 minute exercise session with NDORMS)

As part of Dementia Awareness Week 15th-21st May 2017 Oxford researchers, scientists and health experts will be part of an event on living well, ageing and dementia in Templars Square Shopping Centre, OX4 called Ageing: From Birth and Beyond. We would usually expect one member of Science Oxford staff to be able to provide three activities in a day. Most of our shows are suitable for up to 60 children and most of our workshops for up to 30 children. We will create a draft timetable for you based on the information you provide below.
