Creature Creations at Cogges (ages 5-9)
There’s nothing like finding a frog in the long grass of the back garden, watching a snail slime its way along the path or spotting a squirrel attack next door’s bird feeder. Join Science Oxford for a wild family workshop in Cogges Barn about the animals that live in our gardens and woodlands. Our mini-ecologists will learn about habitats and homes, get dressed up in animal disguise and set out to hunt for the habitat that fits them best. Using play dough, craft and natural materials, they’ll make their own creatures and explore the characteristics that make for a comfortable home.
Booking and information is via www.cogges.org.uk
All children must be supervised.
These sessions do get booked up quickly, so please reserve your place HERE. Reservations are only required for the participating child but everyone will need a Cogges entry ticket to visit the site. The workshops are free for season ticket holders or included in Cogges day tickets, however, donations would be much appreciated.
