Choose Your Own Adventure – World Book Day Creative Computing Club Special
For coding in Python turn to page 16, for writing a story turn to page 14, but to combine the two come along to World Book Day Creative Computer Club Special with Science Oxford.
We all love an adventure – from heroes and villains to monsters and magic – and at this workshop our creative young author/programmers get to choose their own adventure and write it too. Using Python they will learn to code and create their own computer-based book that changes every time it’s read!
Suitable for those new to coding or with some experience. Children are welcome to come dressed as their favourite adventure characters.
9-12 year olds sessions must be accompanied by an adult.
2.30PM session is unaccompanied. Please complete a Parental Permission Form and either email in advance or print out and bring along on the day.
Science Oxford welcomes all children to our clubs. If your child has additional needs, please get in touch on [email protected] to discuss how we can best support your child to make the most of the club.
