Interested in developing a website page or getting into web design? This free workshop is for anyone (experience not necessary) interested in web development. We’ll be working on a web development platform called Anvil that uses nothing but Python code. It has a drag-and-drop editor so you can easily construct a web page. With experts on-hand to help, you’ll be guided through creating one of the following choice of apps:

• A TO DO list – a simple example of a Create, Read, Update, Delete (CRUD) app

• A weather data dashboard

• An app that controls a remote machine from the web

• Any other idea you might have!

Want a taster of the taster? Then take a look at this short video: https://anvil.works/#about

Please bring your own laptop to the session, which lasts 2 hours.

In association with Anvil and Oxford Python
