Science Oxford for Home Educators

The Science Oxford Centre can support home learning with our range of resources and activities.

Weekday Group Visit

We welcome mid-week visits by home educator groups for 20 to 50 children, each accompanied by their responsible adult. These run in a similar format to school class visits and are booked using our online booking form. Sessions run Tuesday to Friday during term time, and last from 10am to 2pm. The cost is £18 per child. Your home educator group can choose activities as a school would. Please note that car parking is not available on these days.

STEM Clubs

We run regular Science Clubs, Creative Computing Clubs and Nature Clubs on Saturdays. These Clubs are designed to encourage children and adults to work together to complete a series of activities. Club sessions last 90 minutes and include access to the woodland and outdoor areas all day. Tickets cost £10 for one child and one adult to attend together.

Family Days

We run Family Days every Saturday, which include a 2-hour session in the Exploration Zone, as well as access to the woodland and outdoor areas all day. Tickets cost £7.50 per person, with free tickets available for under 3s.
