At this month’s electrifying new workshop in Abingdon, our Maker Club Juniors will be taking on the role of power detectives. After getting equipped with a ‘tool box’ of circuit skills, they’ll work out why the electrical circuits are broken and how they can fix them. Once they’ve learned how electricity flows, they’ll design and make their own light-up cards to take home. A workshop that will really get you wired!

Maker Club Junior sessions must be accompanied by an adult.

Science Oxford welcomes all children to our clubs. If you or your child has additional needs, please get in touch on [email protected] to discuss how we can best support your child to make the most of the club.

Science Oxford is committed to inclusion and we recognise that cost is sometimes a barrier. Funded places for eligible families are now available, thanks to the Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust. Families could be eligible for these places for several reasons; for example, if your child receives free school meals or is a looked-after child. To find out more and to book one of these places, please contact [email protected].

This event is part of a partnership between Science Oxford and the Abingdon Science Partnership to bring science-themed activities to wider audiences across the region.
