When you look up at the stars, you see only a small fraction of the known universe. In this maker session, we’ll be bringing the stars down to earth with a series of stellar challenges, including drawing the perfect star and painting the night sky with distress inks. Aspiring astronomers will explore the constellations and planets and use them as inspiration to create cosmic gifts, including celestial jewellery and stitched constellation cards.

All Maker Club Juniors sessions must be accompanied by an adult.

Science Oxford welcomes all children to our clubs. If you or your child has additional needs, please get in touch on [email protected] to discuss how we can best support your child to make the most of the club.

Science Oxford is committed to inclusion and we recognise that cost is sometimes a barrier. Funded places for eligible families are now available, thanks to the Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust. Families could be eligible for these places for several reasons, for example if your child receives free school meals or is a looked-after child. To find out more and to book one of these places, please contact [email protected].

Please note the Oxford Centre for Innovation satnav postcode is OX1 1NA – there is no parking at the venue. The nearest car park is Worcester Street car park.
