Families, Ages 5-9
Explore nature’s ecosystem from seeds to wildlife with a hands-on celebration of spring. Learn how plants, pollinators, insects, birds and animals (including humans!) rely on each other and the climate. Get dissecting amazing seeds of all shapes and sizes in the workshop, and play seed games to find the odd ones out. Go on a flower or bug hunt outside, and play a nest building game in the woodland. Discover ways we can help nature, and make bee-friendly seed-balls to take home for your garden.

£5 additional adult/s ticket admittance to Science Club and outside areas and the visitor cafe. All attendees need a ticket, for under 3’s we recommend the Family Day instead.

Event Details
Children must be accompanied by an adult during the club and all our activities are designed for adults and children to work together. Led by our expert club leaders, try out bespoke activities designed to provide science-inspired fun challenges. There is a different theme each week so we and you are always learning something new!
Nature Club is usually held in our workshop space, with some outdoor activities in most sessions, weather permitting. Explore the natural world in different ways each month, where you will be making the most of the beautiful surroundings at the Science Oxford Centre. With ponds, woodlands and meadows on our doorstep, children can explore and investigate the plants and animals that live alongside us, discover the simple beauty of natural objects and learn how everything in an ecosystem is interconnected.
