Celebrate Chinese New Year of the Snake and program an electronic die with Python – can you predict what fortune 2025 will bring? Our high-rollers create electronic dice using micro:bits and the text-based programming language of Python. People born in the year of the wood snake are believed to be intuitive, strategic, and intelligent – learn how to create random numbers and shake the micro:bit to display them, and design animations to show that your die is rolling! Sss-surprisingly good fun.

£14 per club ticket (includes Eventbrite booking fee) includes one child + accompanying adult.
£5 additional adult ticket admittance to Science Club and outside areas / café. All attendees need a ticket.

All club sessions must be accompanied by an adult. These family workshops are designed for you and your child to learn from each other and work together while trying out new things. Led by our expert club leaders with bespoke activities designed to provide science and tech-inspired fun challenges. There is a different theme each week so we and you are always learning something new!
Get coding with expert guidance at our monthly hands-on programming club for ages 9-12. We encourage creativity and self-led learning with themed projects, and practice patience and problem-solving skills in learning to debug computer code. Beginners welcome.
