Ages 5-9
Celebrate ‘Earth Day’ and create planet powered renewable energy at the Science Oxford Centre. Learn about the different ways we power our planet and conduct your very own scientific experiments. Our bright sparks use hand-powered torches and light a bulb using muscle power! Figure out the best design for a waterwheel, whether the fastest or the strongest, and make and test mini wind-turbines to take home.
Earth Day ‘Our Power, Our Planet’ 55th anniversary year is championing renewable energy: solar, wind, hydroelectric, geothermal, and tidal generated energy.

£5 additional adult/s ticket admittance to Science Club and outside areas and the visitor cafe. All attendees need a ticket, for under 3’s we recommend the Family day instead.

Event Details
Children must be accompanied by an adult during the club and all our activities are designed for adults and children to work together. Led by our expert club leaders, try out bespoke activities designed to provide science-inspired fun challenges. There is a different theme each week so we and you are always learning something new!
