Creative Computing Club
Ages 9-12
Young programmers get creative with tech and collect data for their own scientific experiments using a BBC micro:bit. Create a tool that tests for noise, light or temperature changes, or draw inspiration from our woodland and check moisture levels to monitor climate change. Let imaginations run wild – what can be deduced from the experiments, and how might the data help us to understand our world?
Scientists venturing outdoors collecting data for their experiments should dress for the weather.

£14 per club ticket (includes Eventbrite booking fee) includes one child + accompanying adult.
£5 additional adult ticket admittance to Science Club and outside areas / café. All attendees need a ticket.

All club sessions must be accompanied by an adult. These family workshops are designed for you and your child to learn from each other and work together while trying out new things. Led by our expert club leaders with bespoke activities designed to provide science and tech-inspired fun challenges. There is a different theme each week so we and you are always learning something new!
Get coding with expert guidance at our monthly hands-on programming club for ages 9-12. We encourage creativity and self-led learning with themed projects, and practice patience and problem-solving skills in learning to debug computer code. Beginners welcome.
