Get ready for the Big Garden Birdwatch and create your own bird survey with ‘App Lab’. Young programmers will design and code their app using blocks or text, and can even share with family and friends. See what birds are at the top of the pecking order in the new year, and take part in the world’s largest garden wildlife survey!

Big Garden Birdwatch (24-26 January), spend an hour watching birds in your garden, from your balcony or in your local park, and record how many you can see. Some native species have been declining across the UK, so let’s do our bit to help our feathered friends.

Suitable for ages 12-14 (and KS3: 11+ year olds in secondary school-years 7-9)
£14 per club ticket (includes Eventbrite booking fee) includes one child
Unaccompanied (a parent or guardian can drop off /pick up or wait in our café (serving refreshments until 4pm) or take a walk around the grounds).

Led by our expert club leaders with bespoke activities designed to provide science and tech-inspired fun challenges. There is a different theme each week so we and you are always learning something new! Beginners welcome.
