Ages 9-12
From an Olympian breakdancer’s kangaroo-hop to The Floss, we all love a dance routine. At this month’s club, create your own sequence and teach the steps to your micro:bit using artificial intelligence (AI) and MakeCode. Design your moves and use machine learning to train the micro:bit to recognise them – will it change the flashing display picture, or play a disco-inspired sound effect? Your AI dance-off detectors get hopping and bust some moves!

£14 per club ticket (includes Eventbrite booking fee) includes one child + accompanying adult.
£5 additional adult ticket admittance to Science Club and outside areas / café. All attendees need a ticket.

All club sessions must be accompanied by an adult. These family workshops are designed for you and your child to learn from each other and work together while trying out new things. Led by our expert club leaders with bespoke activities designed to provide science and tech-inspired fun challenges. There is a different theme each week so we and you are always learning something new!
Get coding with expert guidance at our monthly hands-on programming club for ages 9-12. We encourage creativity and self-led learning with themed projects, and practice patience and problem-solving skills in learning to debug computer code. Beginners welcome.
