Teachers! Get a taste of our new education centre

Tuesday 15th October 2019

If you’re looking for inspiration for a unique, enriching STEM activity or trip for your class to enjoy, look no further than here.

Our popular teacher taster sessions, which give early years and primary school teachers the opportunity to come and explore our new Science Oxford Centre, run every Thursday from 4-6pm. These FREE twilight sessions include a tour of the new centre’s facilities and information on our research-based learning ethos.

The session includes:

A play in the hands-on exhibits in our Exploration Zone.

Check out the Workshop learning space and enjoy some tea and cake.

View our Theatre and get an overview from the centre team.

Experience part of a Woodland Trail in our 15-acre woodland.

Here’s what teachers have been saying about the Science Oxford Centre so far:

“Thank you for a truly brilliant visit to the new centre today – what an incredible new facility you have created! I think the gasps from the children spoke for themselves as they walked into the Exploration Zone this morning – we feel very lucky to be the first to use those exhibits today! We thought that the workshop worked really well and the woodland walk was a really big hit too, with lots to learn and explore on the site.”

“I love the principles underlying the building and work planned here. So exciting and uplifting for children being able to experience thought-provoking and stimulating discoveries.”
