Saturday Science Club Abingdon – LEGO Architect (Ages 5-9)
Learn what ‘awesome’ architects do by making blueprints and constructing LEGO homes for some well-known Disney characters. From building somewhere safe for Flounder to hide away, to creating a home that pays tribute to Pocahontas’ Native American roots, our aspiring creatives will be challenged to work as a group to fulfil their design briefs. And remember…everything is awesome when you’re part of a team!
All Saturday Science Club sessions must be accompanied by an adult. Please make sure you have at least 1 adult for every 2 children attending.
Science Oxford welcomes all children to our clubs. If you or your child has additional needs, please get in touch on [email protected] to discuss how we can best support your child to make the most of the club.
Science Oxford is committed to inclusion and we recognise that cost is sometimes a barrier. Funded places for eligible families are now available, thanks to the Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust. Families could be eligible for these places for several reasons; for example, if your child receives free school meals or is a looked-after child. To find out more and to book one of these places, please contact [email protected].

This event is part of a partnership between Science Oxford and the Abingdon Science Partnership to bring science-themed activities to wider audiences across the region.
