Calling all super sleuths! Did Humpty Dumpty really have a great fall, or was he pushed? What mysterious substance made Miss Polly’s Dolly sick sick sick? Who really stole the Queen of Hearts’ tarts? By searching for clues and using a range of scientific techniques, including dusting for fingerprints and testing for egg or starch, young detectives will investigate a series of crime scenes featuring some favourite nursery rhymes and try to unravel the mysteries. It’s the ultimate whodunit!

All Saturday Science Club sessions must be accompanied by an adult. Please make sure you have at least 1 adult for every 2 children attending.

Science Oxford welcomes all children to our clubs. If you or your child has additional needs, please get in touch on [email protected] to discuss how we can best support your child to make the most of the club.

Science Oxford is committed to inclusion and we recognise that cost is sometimes a barrier. Funded places for eligible families are now available, thanks to the Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust. Families could be eligible for these places for several reasons; for example, if your child receives free school meals or is a looked-after child. To find out more and to book one of these places, please contact [email protected].

This event is part of a partnership between Science Oxford and the Abingdon Science Partnership to bring science-themed activities to wider audiences across the region.
