Saturday Science Club Abingdon – All in the mind (Ages 5-9)
Take on a series of mind-bending challenges that will test every part of the brain. Our budding neurologists will challenge their parietal lobe to read in a different way and measure reaction times of the cerebellum as they unravel the grey matter that controls every part of our bodies. Completing each task will earn the mindmasters a piece of a puzzle with which to build their own brain to take home.
All Saturday Science Club sessions must be accompanied by an adult.
Science Oxford welcomes all children to our clubs. If you or your child has additional needs, please get in touch on [email protected] to discuss how we can best support your child to make the most of the club.
Science Oxford is committed to inclusion and we recognise that cost is sometimes a barrier. Funded places for eligible families are now available, thanks to the Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust. Families could be eligible for these places for several reasons; for example, if your child receives free school meals or is a looked-after child. To find out more and to book one of these places, please contact [email protected].

This event is part of a partnership between Science Oxford and the Abingdon Science Partnership to bring science-themed activities to wider audiences across the region.
