Roll up! Roll up! For The Greatest Show on Earth! Join author and illustrator Mini Grey, as she takes you on a whistlestop tour through the story of life on Earth – all 4.6 billion years of it! Fun family talk at Exeter College with  Oxford Literary Festival.

A fabulous, interactive event! Mini Grey will introduce you to the amazing creatures that have evolved on our planet, and the events – including mass extinctions – that have caused chaos. Fasten your safety belts as we voyage into the deep past and explore an actual 600-million-year Tape Measure of Time. Learn to draw The Greatest Show’s host, Rod the Roach, along with some of his fellow Shoe Box Theatre Troupe, and how to use them to create your own insect theatre show. This interactive event is suitable for everyone aged 6 and above. There will be book signings, and a chance to chat to Mini Grey after her talk.

Science Oxford will also be introducing presenter and space scientist, Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock for ‘Am I Made of Stardust?’ family talk at the Sheldonian Theatre on the same day (12pm, £10).
