Super star space scientist and presenter of BBC’s Sky at Night for eight years, Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock is back in Oxford with her new book, Am I Made of Stardust? and ready to answer any question thrown at her about the wonders of the universe. A talk with fabulous facts, mind-blowing insights and engaging explanations, Dr Maggie will also explore her own journey into science and how, with enough enthusiasm, anyone can make it.
There will be book signings and a chance to chat to Dr Maggie after her talk.
Bridget Holligan is the Director of Education and Engagement for Science Oxford. Bridget began her career at The Exploratory science centre in Bristol. After 25 years at Science Oxford, Bridget was awarded the Beetlestone Award for her vision and leadership in recognition of the Science Oxford Centre and ‘Thinking, Doing, Talking Science’ – a national programme for primary science. Bridget will also be introducing author Mini Grey, The Greatest Show on Earth at Exeter college 2pm on the same day (£8, age 6+).
