Children can get their inventor’s hat on and join us at the Museum of Oxford for a fun interactive family show for ages 5-7 this half term. From rocket science to electric cars, amazing inventions are created every day to help us and our planet. Our inventor, Isobel, loves solving problems she encounters by creating new contraptions, but she needs help testing a range of materials before choosing the right one for the job. Help Isobel answer some important questions: Does chocolate burn? Can you make an anchor out of polystyrene? Which material makes the best bouncy ball? Young Lovelace’s and Musk’s take up the challenge and become inventors for today — and tomorrow!

The event is suitable for children aged 5-7. Please note all children must be accompanied by an adult and each person needs a ticket.

This event is part of a partnership between Science Oxford and the Museum of Oxford to bring science-themed activities to wider audiences across the region.
